Geico Commercial - "Witch in a Broom Factory"
While working at The Mill, I contributed visual effects to a humorous Geico commercial built around the concept of what might happen if an actual witch worked in a broom factory. The spot played on slapstick chaos—enchanted brooms flying out of control, workers scrambling, and magic gone awry—and my role was to ensure all of those fantastical elements blended seamlessly into the live-action footage. I handled extensive compositing and clean-up work, removing rigs, smoothing transitions, and integrating practical effects with digital enhancements so the comedy felt effortless on screen. The challenge was to balance the absurdity of the premise with a polished realism that made the joke land visually. The final commercial showcased Geico’s trademark humor while highlighting The Mill’s ability to elevate comedy through sophisticated visual effects, and I’m proud to have been part of the team that brought such a playful concept to life.
