For this piece, I edited, animated, and created the visual effects for a segment covering early reports of a live-action adaptation of the beloved video game Shadow of the Colossus. While the effects and animations may seem modest at first glance, what makes them remarkable is that the entire video was conceived, edited, and finished in less than sixty minutes—a pace that demanded speed, precision, and creativity. The story itself speculated on Josh Trank, fresh off the success of Chronicle, potentially helming the long-awaited adaptation, and the video combined playful graphics with a clear, fast-moving edit to capture the excitement of the announcement. This kind of rapid turnaround exemplified our ability to keep audiences engaged with timely, stylish content that blended pop culture reporting with an entertaining edge.
