While working at Vimeo, I directed, wrote, edited, animated, and created the visual effects for an explainer video announcing the launch of Vimeo On Demand, a brand-new platform that empowered filmmakers and creators to sell their work directly to audiences. The goal of the video was to clearly communicate how the platform worked while capturing Vimeo’s sleek, creative aesthetic, so I combined motion graphics, animation, and live-action elements into a polished, engaging presentation. From concept to final delivery, I oversaw every stage of production, ensuring the message was both visually dynamic and easy to understand for a global audience of independent creators. This project was especially rewarding because it showcased Vimeo’s mission of supporting creative independence while giving me the opportunity to blend storytelling with technical precision. Since the product has evolved significantly over time, the original video link is no longer active, but the project remains a highlight of my work at Vimeo.
